2025–2026 Receivership Quarter 3 Progress Reporting
Date:
March 17, 2026

As part of the 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ State Education Department (91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ) Office of Innovation and School Reform’s (OISR) performance management and reporting framework, districts are required to submit quarterly progress reports for schools under Receivership. These reports are a critical component of the State’s continuous improvement process and are essential for monitoring progress toward Demonstrable Improvement Indicator (DII) targets, assessing the effectiveness of lead strategies, and informing timely adjustments to improvement plans.

The information provided through quarterly reporting supports transparency and shared accountability, and enables the school and district community, the Commissioner, and the Board of Regents to evaluate the extent to which schools are demonstrating meaningful progress and implementing improvement strategies with fidelity.

Attached, please find the 2025–2026 Receivership School Quarterly Report #3 template. Schools must use this template to document and reflect on progress made during the reporting period of February 1, 2026, through April 30, 2026. The template is designed to capture key quantitative trend data as well as qualitative evidence demonstrating the impact of strategies implemented to advance DII targets. Thorough, accurate, and reflective reporting is essential to clearly document progress and to inform ongoing decision-making throughout the improvement process.

The deadline for submission of the Quarter 3 Report is April 30, 2026.

Please submit the completed Quarterly Report to OISR@nysed.gov and copy your district’s assigned OISR Associate. If you have questions regarding the template or reporting expectations, or if you require technical assistance, please contact your OISR Associate or email OISR@nysed.gov directly.

Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to improving outcomes for all students. Through this collaborative work, we remain focused on ensuring that all students have access to the support, systems, and learning opportunities necessary to thrive.
