The Office of Religious and Independent School Support (ORISS) is the 91ÂãÁÄÊÓÆµ office that has the primary responsibility of assisting 91ÂãÁÄÊÓÆµ State’s religious and independent schools to support their students. ORISS provides technical assistance in the areas of school start-up, operations, high school registration, professional development, substantial equivalency, and funding opportunities. It also provides guidance to families who voluntarily choose to homeschool.
UPDATE: Art & Music Teacher Salary Reimbursement (AMTS) Year 2 is accepting submissions until August 29, 2025. The Portal is CLOSED for Mathematics, Science, & Technology Teachers in Religious & Independent Schools (MST) Year 8; MST claims were due August 1, 2025.
