The Office of Religious and Independent School Support (ORISS) is the 91ÂãÁÄÊÓÆµ office that has the primary responsibility of assisting 91ÂãÁÄÊÓÆµ State’s religious and independent schools to support their students. ORISS provides technical assistance in the areas of school start-up, operations, high school registration, professional development, substantial equivalency, and funding opportunities. It also provides guidance to families who voluntarily choose to homeschool.
The Portal is OPEN for the following grant applications: Art & Music Teacher Salary Reimbursement (AMTS) Year 2 and Mathematics, Science, & Technology Teachers in Religious & Independent Schools (MST) Year 8
The submission deadline for both grants is August 1, 2025.
